Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan on Monday had a telephone conversation with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.

The interlocutors discussed regional developments, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia.

Mirzoyan asked about the situation in the Middle East as a result of the events of recent days, and expressed hope that it will be possible to achieve a resolution of the issues through diplomacy.

Also, Ararat Mirzoyan briefed his Omani counterpart on the measures aimed at consistently strengthening the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In addition, the two ministers discussed matters on multilateral platforms aimed at promoting regional cooperation.
