The Secretary General of the Armenian Ministry of Defense (MoD), Hamlet Batikyan, on Friday met with the NATO Director for Defense and Security Cooperation, Piers Cazalet, at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels.

During the meeting, cooperation aimed at strengthening integrity in the defense sector was discussed, the MoD of Armenia informs.

Piers Cazalet confirmed the readiness of the NATO integrity team to continue cooperation with the Armenian MoD in the development and implementation of an action plan on integrity.

The meeting was followed by working discussions with NATO expert groups on the document on self-assessment of integrity in the defense sector, approved in 2026.
