Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Residents of [Armenia’s] Kirants village told us that when they stand near the former school building in the center of the village or in other parts, their [smart]phone screens read [Azerbaijani] “Kheyrimli.”

In the Soviet years, the small Azerbaijani-inhabited Kheyrimli village, which was located a few hundred meters from Kirants, consisted of barely 25-30 houses, while since [19]92 it has not existed at all, no one, not even the Azerbaijanis who lived there at the time, remembered its existence for 30 years. The first to remember it and utter the word “Kheyrimli” was [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan, and in 2024, under the name of border delimitation, he unilaterally handed [it] over to Azerbaijan.

The reason for how this place name has appeared in the field of view of Google or iPhones is solely due to the aggressive Azerbaijani policy, in contrast to Armenia's defeatist and surrendering-and-forgetting-everything policy.

They [i.e. the residents of Kirants] told us that only in part of Kirants does the [smart]phone screen writes "Kirants."
