My position has not changed: we'll live, we'll see. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday stated this at a press briefing following the Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government—and referring to the recent statements by representatives of the fellow Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries regarding Armenia.
According to the premier, the main goal of the Armenian government is the sustainable development of Armenia, as well as the protection of the country's independence and sovereignty.
"We will follow this path and the path of diversifying our relations," Pashinyan added.
He specifically mentioned the bill on Armenia's membership in the European Union, noting that this is one of the rare cases when the Armenian government has supported a legislative initiative of civil society.
Also, the head of Armenia’s government stressed their determination and readiness to protect democracy in the country.
