Russia has invested more than $10 bln in Azerbaijan's economy over past 5-8 years, Azerbaijani ambassador says

The amount of investments from Russia to the Azerbaijani economy has exceeded $10 billion over the past five to eight years, Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev said, local media report.

Also, Mustafayev noted that Azerbaijan, in turn, has invested $1.2 billion in the Russian economy over the past five years. "We expect that this year our trade will reach the $3.5-4 billion mark," added the Azerbaijani envoy to Russia.
