Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The matter of snap [National Assembly (NA)] elections is being discussed more actively behind the scenes in the authorities, especially in the NA faction, than in opposition circles. Here they are very concerned about the prospect that they could lose their [parliamentary] mandate and carefree life.

Our source did not rule out that there will be CC [i.e. Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction] members who will join the opposition to prevent the snap [parliamentary election] scenario.

The thing is that in order for the parliament to be dissolved and snap elections to be called, [PM Nikol] Pashinyan must first resign, other forces should not nominate candidates, and the parliament must be dissolved; this is according to Pashinyan's scenario.

And if the opposition is against it, they can nominate a candidate, and if they work correctly, it is not ruled out that some CC members will vote in favor so that the parliament is not dissolved.
