As part of her visit to Armenia, Queen Sofia of Spain visited the pagan temple of Garni and the natural monument "Symphony of Stones," informs the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Armenia.

In the territory of the Garni Temple, the Queen of Spain got familiarized with the history and significance of this unique monument of Armenian Hellenistic age architecture.

Her Majesty visited also the territory of the "Symphony of Stones" natural monument, which is on the list of specially protected natural areas of Armenia.

Queen Sofia of Spain's visit to Armenia will continue until Thursday. Also, Her Majesty will attend the solemn ceremony of awarding the Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development in Yerevan, as well as events aimed at strengthening friendly ties between Armenia and Spain.
