The 16th cycle of IDBank’s IDream educational program has begun, giving 35 participants the opportunity to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to build a career in the banking sector.

IDBank launched the IDream program six years ago to help students and recent graduates take their first steps towards a career in banking. To date, more than 200 program graduates have joined the Bank’s team.

“We are delighted that IDream gives students the opportunity to start their careers in the banking sector. Throughout the program, the Bank’s experienced specialists and managers share their theoretical knowledge and practical expertise with participants. Participants also receive a stipend throughout the two-month program. Interest in the program continues to grow year after year, and we received around 700 applications this year,” said Sona Manucharyan, Human Capital Management Director at IDBank.

Over the next two months, participants will gain an understanding of the Bank’s operations, organizational structure, and products, followed by hands-on training at the Bank’s branches and Contact Center. Upon completing the program, participants who achieve the best results will have the opportunity to join the IDBank team.

“Our branch network includes professionals who started their careers through the IDream program and now hold managerial positions. Their experience demonstrates that the program can serve as a starting point for long-term professional growth,” noted Smbat Avagyan, Deputy Head of the Sales and Regional Management Division at IDBank and an IDream program lecturer.

Another important part of banking operations is remote customer communication through the Contact Center. This is where many participants gain a comprehensive understanding of banking products, customer service processes, and collaboration between different departments.

“Working in the Contact Center is an excellent opportunity for students and individuals with no prior experience in banking to familiarize themselves with the Bank’s key products, programs, and initiatives. We have numerous success stories of employees who started their careers in the Contact Center and went on to advance within the Bank,” said Davit Lazaryan, Head of IDBank’s Contact Center and an IDream program lecturer.

Through the IDream program, IDBank supports the professional development of young people and contributes to training new professionals for the banking sector.
