Azerbaijan is an active participant in projects being implemented in the region. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at the 13th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), in Ankara. Bayramov noted that the geographical location, economic potential, and energy resources of the OTS create broad opportunities for further strengthening its role in international transport, trade, and energy security.
“Azerbaijan is an active participant in regional projects being implemented in this direction. The development of the Middle Corridor, the implementation of the Zangezur Corridor, and the expansion of transport links between our countries will increase our economic opportunities,” he said.
According to Bayramov, the main goal is to use these opportunities not only for transit, but also for the development of mutual trade, industrial cooperation, and investments. "Our cooperation in the fields of energy, digital communications, and new technologies is taking on new content.
Azerbaijan is not only a reliable supplier of traditional energy resources, but also plays an important role in creating green energy and digital connections between Central Asia and Europe," the Azerbaijani foreign minister said.
