A computer belonging to Narek Karapetyan’s child was seized during a search of his home, lawyer Arman Feroyan said on November 4.

Speaking to reporters outside the home of Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, Feroyan described the search as another episode in a series of unlawful actions and an instance of political persecution. He was commenting on simultaneous searches conducted early that morning at the homes of Samvel and Narek Karapetyan, as well as at more than 60 addresses linked to people associated with them.

Feroyan said he did not yet have full details of the searches. He explained that he had arrived late and was seeking permission to enter the house. So far, he said, it was known that investigators had seized a computer belonging to a child, along with documents, a computer, data storage devices and various other items.
