YEREVAN. – The May 6 parliamentary elections in Armenia were held with mass violations, which were of systemic, state organized character, having significant influence on the election results, opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) coordinator Levon Zurabyan said at the Constitutional Court of Armenia.

To note, the Court prolonged the hearings till Wednesday. The ANC demands to cancel the election results.

In his speech Zurabyan provided arguments and proves. Among arguments are the ‘growth’ of voting lists, inadequacy of the lists with the declared results and the demographic indicators, as well as the issue of the evaporating inks, double voting, obligatory voting and bribe distribution.

Regarding proves the ANC takes into account the reports by the trusted persons made at the district precincts and citizens’ testimonies, as well as publications in media outlets and videos. All these prove that violations were state organized and massive and realized by the executive body and law enforcement agents. Taking into account that hundreds of thousands votes were falsified, the ANC asks to cancel the May 6 parliamentary elections results.
