YEREVAN. – Hovik Abrahamyan—who is the sole nominee for the position of fifth National Assembly (NA) Speaker—regrets that the opposition Armenian National Congress and Heritage Party MPs have not attended first session of the new Parliament.     

“But I will organize our future work in such way that everything will be in an environment of mutual agreement,” Abrahamyan told news reporters at the NA.   

Also, he informed that the country’s president—and ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) leader—instructed all RPA NA Faction members to take active part in parliamentary activities.
