YEREVAN. – Armenian Military Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan visited Chinary and Berdavan villages of Armenia’s Tavush Region after the Azerbaijani diversion, during which three Armenian soldiers were killed and six others wounded on Monday.
He said that what has happened is really painful but predictable at the same time.
“It is predictable as Armenia anyway is in the risky region and Armenians should be more careful, especially on the line of the contact. Besides, we need to be especially careful to cut down risk and danger circumstances as clashes anyway occur in the line of the contact,” he told the journalists.
Asked whether the level of Armenian soldiers’ carefulness has decreased on the border, Kostanyan said that it has not, but it is required to be more careful.
In addition, the Chinary village community head Samvel Saghoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that no one of the residents got injured and no panic is observed in the village.
