The President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad left for China on Tuesday to participate in the 12th Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit which will take place in Beijing on June 6-7.
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehin and Minister of Industry and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfarin will accompany the President of Iran.
Within the framework of the visit the President will meet with leaders of several countries.
