YEREVAN. – Armavir Regional Precinct of Armenia’s Police received a call from hospital, on June 23 at 9:35 am, informing that Hripsime G., 35, had come to the hospital and informed that she was injured as a result of an explosion while burning garbage.

It was found out that Hripsime G. had heard a blast and suffered an injury while burning trash in the rear of the barn located at the yard of her home, at around 9am, the Police press service informs.    

And it became apparent that Hripsime G.’s neighbor, Anushavan G., 26, had shot at a dog—with his hunting rifle and in the rear of his barn, at around 9am—but he carelessly wounded Hripsime G.    

The rifle and its two empty shells are confiscated and sent for an examination. 

An investigation is underway.
