YEREVAN. – The protest action to demand withdrawal of the mandate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP, head of the Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan will be held on Wednesday in front of the Parliament, opposition Heritage party member David Sanasaryan said.

The incident of brutal beating the military doctor Vahe Avetyan in the restaurant owned by Hayrapetyan and allegedly by restaurant security guards, brought forth a wide public resonance, while his death news simply broke the social networks. The RPA MP had to close his Facebook profile due to many insulting comments in the page. To note, Vahe Avetyan was beaten to death on June 17 in Harsnakar restaurant, which belongs to Hayrapetyan, allegedly by the restaurant employees and body-guards. He died on June 29.

As the Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, the brutal incident took place in Harsnakar, where several military doctors were beaten, including Avetyan, Edgar Mikoyan, Arkadi Aghajanyan, Garik Soghomonyan, and Artak Badayan. A criminal case is instigated and six people are arrested.
