YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on Monday Iranian Minister of Interior Mostafa Mohammad Najjar.

Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan said the frequent mutual high level visits prove that Armenia and Iran are determined to deepen cooperation and business contacts.

The Armenian leader stressed that during Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to Yerevan, the sides reached arrangements on mutually beneficial cooperation in different fields. The work to implement the arrangements is underway, he added. 

President Sargsyan and Minister Najjar stressed importance of expanding cooperation between Armenia’s regions and Iran’s provinces. They stressed, it will further strengthen mutual confidence and friendly Armenian-Iranian relations.
