YEREVAN – Candlelight in memory of the victims of flood in Kuban was held in front of the Russian Embassy in Armenia on Monday at 9 p.m.

As reported by Armenian News-News.am, the event was attended by Armenians and the representatives of Russian community in Armenia. The event was held in silence.

As Armenian News-News.am informed earlier, the July 7 flood inundated close to 5,000 homes in the Russian Krasnodar region three cities and several villages. The natural disaster claimed almost 180 lives and affected more than 12,000 people. There are Armenians identified among flood victims. July 9 has been declared a National Day of Mourning for the victims of the devastating flood in Russia.
