YEREVAN. – Already two months have passed since Armenia’s several budgetary institutions have not paid the salaries of some of their employees. And the reasoning was as follows: “There is no money in the budget. It will be in the future, [and] we will transfer it,” Zhoghovurd daily writes, referring to its well-informed sources.             

“Furthermore, the situation is the same even at the ministries and their adjunct institutions. The newspaper received such alert from a Healthcare Ministry-adjunct institution.   

It is assumed that, at the time, the budgetary amounts were directed to the May 6 [parliamentary] election bribe fund, and the authorities still are unable to restore it,” Zhoghovurd writes.
