make preferableYEREVAN. – Germany’s newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Reiner Morell, presented his credentials to Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan.
The President highly assessed the Armenia-Germany ties that have progressed, and stressed that Armenia is interested in further deepening these dynamics, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In his turn, Ambassador Morell noted that Armenian-German relations have a great potential for development, and, as ambassador, he will do his utmost to use this potential to the fullest and to further improve bilateral ties. In the German ambassador’s words, Armenia and Germany can collaborate well in the humanitarian sector, too.
The interlocutors reflected on the Armenia-EU interaction, and developing partnership and improving mutual trade and economic ties along the lines of the EU Eastern Partnership Project, considering the fact that Germany is Armenia’s first trading partner amongst the EU countries.
President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Reiner Morell also exchanged views on regional matters.
