YEREVAN.- Speaker of Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin, who is in Armenia on an official visit, laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims on Tuesday (photo).

Sergey Naryshkin visited the Genocide Museum-Institute and left a note in a memory book. He also planted a fir in the Memory Alley.

Russian Speaker was accompanied by Armenian Vice Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, Russia’s Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko and Armenia’s Ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan.

Within the framework of his visit Naryshkin will meet with President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, and Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.

Russian official will also address the representatives of science at the Armenian National Academy of Sciences.
