YEREVAN. – Davit Shahnazaryan announced on Constitution Day, that is, on July 5, about his leaving the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), Zhoghovurd daily writes. 

“Naturally, the announcement was followed by the ANC’s clarifications that his leaving the Congress is sad, but not a big loss. Subsequently, rumors began to be spread among the political circles that Shahnazaryan soon will head to the US and he might not return. 

Zhoghovurd attempted to verify from him the news about his leaving to the US for good.  

‘Let me tell [you] that this information is the dream of those who disseminated it. I know very well who are disseminating that. But let me tell [you] that this is their dream and, just like all dreams, it, too, will not come true. My objective is to send them out of here [Armenia], and I will send [them],’ [Davit] Shahnazaryan said, and refused to answer other questions,” Zhoghovurd writes.
