YEREVAN. - Armenian Ministry of Agriculture has started to check the ice-cream market since Thursday, head of the State Service for Food Safety at the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture Babken Pipoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Violations were registered both in small and major producers. Violations are mainly connected to the preservation issues, however, the laboratory analyses have not yet finished. Currently the experts are concerned over the preservation conditions of the ice-cream. Employees at the ice-cream machine very often have either a dirty uniform or just do not have it, moreover, they work without gloves. Pipoyan advised citizens not to buy an ice-cream from such places.
