YEREVAN. – No trading was conducted Monday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange.

The US dollar was offered at AMD 408/$1, but the demand was not more than AMD 407/$1.

The stock exchange was passive, overall, and no transaction was conducted even in the credit resources.   

And solely a bond-related trading was conducted at NASDAQ OMX Armenia all through the entire session.

To note, the American currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.25/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday. The US dollar gained little value, yet it is still too early to speak about the stabilization of the financial market.

The sales totaled $2.15 million.

And in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, the exchange offices sold and purchased the dollar at AMD 405/$1 and AMD 408/$1, respectively, on Friday.
