YEREVAN. – A total of $1, 350,000 was purchased at the NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday at the average rate of AMD 413.48/$1.

The closing price for the U.S. currency was AMD 413.53/$1, the Central Bank of Armenia press service informs.

To note, the U.S. dollar got highly evaluated in Armenia. The average rate of the foreign currency against the national currency made AMD 411/$1 at the NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Aug. 3. On the same day cash exchange offices purchased dollar at the rate of AMD 410/$1 and sold it at the rate of AMD 412/$1.
