President of Russia Vladimir Putin will meet with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday to discuss the issues related to security in the Caucasus and bilateral relations, Kremlin said in a statement.

During Serzh Sargsyan’s working visit to Moscow the presidents will discuss bilateral relations, international and regional issues, RIA Novosti reports.

Kremlin said the visit is to become a new step on building friendly and mutually beneficial partnership between Armenia and Russia.

ussia is the main foreign investor and one of Armenia’s major trade partners. The volume of Russian capital exceeded $2.8 billion in January-May 2012, while trade turnover made $ 434.8 million.  

The Presidents will also discuss Armenia-Russia cooperation within the framework of Eurasian integration processes, in particular within CIS and CSTO.
