One billion dollars is not a limit for the turnover between Armenia and Russia, President Serzh Sargsyan said during the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

“We can double or even triple bilateral trade turnover in the next two or three years,” he said.

The Armenian leader pointed at successful military-technical cooperation between the two states, RIA Novosti reported.

“We have extended the terms of Russian military base in Armenia. We believe that the presence of Russian military base is in our interests,” he emphasized.

As  Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Armenian President is on a working visit to Russia from August 7 to 8.
