YEREVAN.- Syrian-Armenian children visited Tsakhkadzor where met with the participants of “Baze-2012” youth camp. They participated in a number of sports and cultural events.

One of the participants, 13-year-old Hakob Karapet said he spends his vacations in Armenia every summer. Here he learns national songs and dances, studies Armenian history.

Head of the group Perch Ter-Sahakyan said most children are visiting Armenia for the first time. They were excited to see Ararat Mount and feel hospitality of Armenia’s residents, he added.  

This year’s camp marks the 10th anniversary of Baze. Within 10 years the camp brought together over 8,000 young people from Armenia and Diaspora.
