YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan and State Secretary Thomas Ilka of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Health on Thursday signed a joint statement on conducting cooperation in the healthcare sector.    

This document envisions cooperation toward the development of this domain and of its separate branches, Armenian Health Ministry press service informs. 

“The statement opens a new chapter in cooperation in the healthcare sector of Germany and Armenia, and envisions interaction in a wide variety of ways. I am confident we will register huge success in the future,” Derenik Dumanyan said.    

In his turn, Thomas Ilka noted that there is a need to expand the already-existing cooperation between Armenia and Germany in the healthcare sector.  

“Truly, the document creates numerous opportunities for cooperation. I expect active cooperation,” Ilka stated.

Separately, Derenik Dumanyan pointed to German colleagues’ assistance rendered to Armenia.
