YEREVAN. – The average age will make 50 years in Armenia by 2050, Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the UN Population Fund reports inform. According to international demographic norms, Armenia is among states, which is getting older. 

The average age will make 50 in Armenia by 2050, the UN Population Fund Yerevan Office head Garik Hayrapetyan told Radio Liberty.

According to him, among the main problems requiring solution are migration flaws and reduction of birth. Regarding increase of the life spam, a program integrating the old is necessary to elaborate.
