YEREVAN.- Armenia and Israel signed an agreement to cooperate in the fields of education, science and culture in 2012-2014.

The document was signed by Armenia’s Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan and Information and Diaspora Minister of Israel Yuli-Yoel Edelstein. The program of cooperation for 2013-2015 was approved as well.

“The signed documents present a specific, comprehensive, clear and substantial program of joint activities to be carried out between the countries in the mentioned period,” Minister Poghosyan said.

In 2013 - 2014 years Armenia and Israel will hold the days of culture in both countries and will carry out experience exchange programs in various fields.

In his turn, Minister Edelstein praised the importance of enhanced cooperation between the two countries, especially due to a positive change in Armenia over recent years. According to him, the two states will benefit from this cultural exchange.
