YEREVAN.- The office of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office conducted a regular monitoring  on Wednesday along the line of contact between the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tavush Region.

From the Armenian side, the monitoring mission was held by field assistants Irji Aberle and Peter Kee.

Prior to the monitoring, the OSCE mission held a briefing to present the situation along the line of contact, statistics on ceasefire violation cases by the Azerbaijani side and the issues related to snipers’ actions.

The monitoring was conducted at a certain distance from the border. Azerbaijani side once again rejected Armenia’s offer to cross the border and hold a direct monitoring. No cases of ceasefire violations were recorded, Armenian MOD said in a statement.
