YEREVAN. – Armenia is a very important partner for the NATO, as it contributed significantly to the Treaty in Kosovo and Afghanistan, the NATO Secretary General (SG) Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Thursday.
The NATO SG said in particular that the youth in Armenia should know that they are not only the bearers of their great history, but also creators of their future. Fogh Rasmussen called on the youth to be based on the idea of cooperation, mutual understanding, compromise and the dialogue. Without these options no progress and prosperity is possible in the country.
Besides, in cooperating with Armenia, the NATO desires to help the country to establish stability in the region. In addition, Armenia is a very important partner for the NATO, as it contributed significantly to the organization in Kosovo and Afghanistan, the NATO SG concluded.
