YEREVAN. – The Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian received on Friday the US Congressman Dan Burton.

The Minister stated that the United States and Armenia have registered the highest level of bilateral cooperation in various fields, parliamentary press service reports.

Burton stated in his turn that regional issues are in his focus and he is glad for visiting Yerevan and for the opportunity to discuss various issues with the Armenian authorities.

The interlocutors exchanged thoughts on developments in the South Caucasus and the regions around it.

Speaking on the Azerbaijani-Hungarian deal and release of Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov, Nalbandian stated that the world community’s unanimous estimation meant clear message to the Azerbaijani authorities, which seriously impact on the regional security with their provocative actions.
