MOSCOW. – Armenian immigrants have lost their lives in Moscow. The manual workers were working at an underground collector. 

The unfortunate incident, which claimed the lives of four men, occurred in the Russian capital on Friday evening. 

“Information was received, on the evening at around 10[pm local time], that five manual workers had fallen into a well. The rescue workers, who had arrived on the scene, were able to remove only one of them alive,” a source from the Russian law enforcement informed Life News.    

And according to Interfax News Agency’s law enforcement source, one of the workers had lost consciousness as a result of inhaling methane gas fume in the well. The others likewise entered the well to save him, but they lost consciousness as well. 

The victims are as follows:

G. Avagyan, born in 1980, a citizen of Armenia; M. Bichakhchyan, born in 1982, a citizen of Armenia; an unidentified man, approximately 30 years old; and an unidentified man, 32-33 years old.
