YEREVAN. – The prices of heart and blood pressure medicine have somewhat increased in Armenia’s drug market, Zhoghovurd daily learned from the Public Relations and Information Department of the Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (ASCPEC).  

‘“The Commission has commenced a study of this market for already two days. In addition, we received two complaints [with respect to] heart, and one [complaint] in connection with [blood] pressure medication price increase,’ ASCPEC spokeswoman Gayane Sahakyan said.   

The Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition does not elaborate on why the drugs have become more expensive. They still have to study the problem for a long time,” Zhoghovurd writes.
