YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ministry of Defense was the venue for Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s meeting Tuesday with representatives from the defense and security committees of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)-member countries.

CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha likewise attended the talk.     

The participants discussed the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force’s “Cooperation 2012” joint multinational military exercises—which are in progress in Armenia—and the future collaboration, Armenian MOD press service informs.   

“I was reported that, with the agenda of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Coordinating Council members are planned to participate in the ‘Cooperation 2012’ military exercise, as observers,” Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan specifically stated in his remarks at the meeting.
