YEREVAN.- The call of French Foreign Minister to increase security measures is addressed to all diplomatic missions where necessary measures should be taken given the situation in the country where the embassy is located, spokesperson for French Embassy in Yerevan Mery Hakobyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier French authorities decided to step up security measures in some diplomatic missions overseas after caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed was published in one of the satirical magazines.

Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said he instructed several embassies where problems may occur to increase security measures.
