STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Wednesday signed a law on making changes to the NKR Law “On the Structure of the NKR Cabinet of Ministers,” Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informs.

Separately, and as Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, NKR National Assembly (NA) convened a special session on September 14 and unanimously approved Ara Harutyunyan’s nomination to the office of NKR Prime Minister.

All thirty NA MPs, who cast their votes in a secret ballot, voted in favor of Harutyunyan’s candidacy, which was nominated by President Bako Sahakyan.  

In his turn, Ara Harutyunyan extended his thanks to the Parliament for its trust, and noted that he will work with a greater energy and enthusiasm for Nagorno-Karabakh’s development and prosperity.  

To note, Ara Harutyunyan is NKR’s serving PM ever since 2007.
