A solemn reception took place in the Armenian Embassy in Denmark on the occasion of the Day of Independence of Armenia on Thursday. Over 500 guests, including officials from the Danish parliament and the MFA, accredited diplomatic representatives, heads of international, as well as state, political, public, cultural organizations, representatives of the church of Denmark and the Armenian community participated in the reception. The Armenian Ambassador to Denmark Hrachya Aghajanyan made a speech saying the Armenian people proved that it is ready to resist the challenges and move on during the hard times followed by independence, Armenian MFA reports.
