YEREVAN. – The Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan convened consultations with the participation of judicial system representatives of Armenia. They discussed perspectives of increasing productivity of court system, as well as issues concerning courts procedures settling within a reasonable time. Head of the Court of Appeals Arman Mkrtumyan, Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan and head of the Palace of Advocates (Bar Association) Ruben Sahakyan reported on the aforesaid issues.
The President paid a special attention to issues discussed during previous consultations, assigned tasks on their solutions as well as securing positive process of court procedures.
Sargsyan stressed that cases in courts should not be heard quickly to the detriment of quality, at the same time no artificial cancellations are admissible.
