During Nalbandian’s meeting with Jordanian FM Nasser Judeh, they reflected on expanding bilateral ties and, in this connection, underscored the Armenian ambassador’s accreditation to and founding of Armenia’s honorary consulate in Amman as well as the ongoing cultural exchange between both countries.

Armenian FM’s discussion with his Syrian counterpart, Walid Muallem, was devoted to the current developments in Syria. Nalbandian expressed a deep concern by the continuing clashes and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the country, and stressed that Syria’s civilians—including Syrian Armenians—are suffering from this situation. Armenia’s Foreign Minister stressed that the Syrian crisis cannot be surmounted unless all violation is stopped and a political dialogue that considers all Syrians’ interests is launched.
