DAMASCUS. – An Armenian monument and a church, which were hit by bombs in Deir ez-Zor, Syria will be reconstructed by all means, secretary of the Berio Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic church in Aleppo Zhirayr Reisian told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The explosion took place about a week ago.
 
According to him, walls of the church were hit,  and there are some gaps but the building itself is not destroyed.

“Reconstruction will start after the military actions are over,” he stated adding there were other explosions as well on Nov. 11, however, no one suffered.

In addition, Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church assured that the church and the monument will be reconstructed.
