February 2, 2010, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is to arrive for a visit to Turkey to participate in 21st sitting of the Turkish-Iranian commission on economic and trade cooperation in Ankara.
According to Iranian mass media, he will also hold meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other high-ranking officials.
According to Ahmad Nurani, a trade official at the Iranian Embassy in Ankara, representatives of different organizations, as well as of Iranian and Turkish ministries of transport, energy, commerce and nature protection will hold meetings.
Bilateral cooperation issues will be in focus. According to the meeting results, a final draft memorandum will be submitted to the commission for approval.
The commission’s meeting will be completed by February 3, 2010, Iran News reports.
