YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate highways and inter-village motorways are primarily drivable, as of Wednesday at 10am, but there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, several inter-village motorways are closed and some others are difficult to pass.

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for buses with chained wheels and which seat up to thirty passengers.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
