YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday headed to Austria on a working visit.
In Vienna, Sargsyan is attending the European People’s Party (EPP) summit, the President’s Press Office informs. The attendees are discussing the European Union (EU) economic and political developments and the contemporary international matters.
The event agenda specifically includes issues concerning economic growth, job creation, raising economic competitiveness, and the development of a closer EU economic and monetary union.
The EPP summit participants will exchange views on the implementation of national structural reforms and the results of the ending 2013 semester of the EU.
The discussants will also reflect on regional matters and issues relating to the EU Eastern Partnership.
