YEREVAN. – The “Heroic woman in the sector of agricultural production 2013” contest’s award ceremony will be held Tuesday at Lovers’ Park in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan. 

The “Heroic woman in the sector of agricultural production” program and respective awards ceremony are held for the third time by the “Armenian Young Women’s Association” NGO and Oxfam GROW.

The objective of the contest is to encourage women that have achieved success in agriculture and farming in Armenia. 

Women from Oxfam’s beneficiary communities in Vayots Dzor and Tavush Regions took part in the contest.   

The “Heroic woman in the sector of agricultural production” program and respective awards ceremony are held since 2012.
