YEREVAN. – Due to the unusual old weather, the classes will resume later than planned in some schools of Armenia.   

Education and Science Ministry Public Education Department Head Narine Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that those schools with a heating problem have applied to the ministry, with a request to join the winter and the spring breaks.

The classes in other schools have resumed according to schedule.     

A total of forty schools, from the 1,400 schools throughout the country, have made such a request to the ministry. As a result, the classes in these schools will resume once their heating problems are resolved.    

Hovhannisyan added that these schools are primarily in the regions of Armenia.
