YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.99/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.59 drop from Tuesday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 554.16 (down by AMD 3.16), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.20 (down by AMD 0.05), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 668.32 (down by AMD 0.76), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,375.92, AMD 265.23, and AMD 18,750.85, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 2,600,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 406.50/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 406.50/$1, the stock exchange informs.
