YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.25/$1 in Armenia on Thursday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.74 drop from Wednesday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 553.19 (down by AMD 0.97), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.15 (down by AMD 0.05), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 664.06 (down by AMD 4.26), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,143.69, AMD 262.40, and AMD 18,494.72, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 8,850,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 405.77/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 405.75/$1, the stock exchange informs.
